Because HE died for us, we are a part of the THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT. On the day of Pentecost God sent us HIS Spirit. The THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT are not to be confused with The Fruit of the Spirit, patience, love, etc. Jesus is the firstfruits and so are those of us who love and live for HIM.
